Every summer since 2011, the Friends of Rouge Park have hosted a walk through the restored prairie to search for and identify butterflies. Led by butterfly enthusiast Doris Applebaum and assisted by other local butterfly lovers, it is a great opportunity for residents to learn about and see these important and beautiful pollinators.
