Key things to look out for: Three Interpretive signs explaining the history of the area, Charles Sorensen, and his estate that once stood there.

Best times to visit: Dry weather

Accessibility: Floods regularly, often muddy.

History: Built during the Great Depression alongside a dam near the west end. This dam created “Sorensen Lake”, but was eventually washed out. The Automotive History Interpretive Trail was built by FORP with grant funding by the Motor Cities Heritage Association and opened in 2018.
