Growing Together Sculpture

Picture
Growing Together Sculpture: located at a major intersection of Rouge Park and along the paved walking trail, the marble ‘Growing Together’ Sculpture was built in 2009 by Larry Halpert and Cody High School art students as part of a Community + Public Arts Project. This sculpture symbolizes community and unity as we work together to grow and evolve as a people and as a park!

Cherry Tree and Paw Paw Orchard: Planted in 2024 by Friends of Rouge Park and volunteers to create more edible and interactive landscapes in Rouge Park.  Witness these trees as they grow, blossom in the spring and eventually develop fruit in the coming years!

[Antonio has photos of cherry tree and paw & paw being planted]
