Friends of Rouge Park (FORP) is a non-profit organization founded in 2002 by people passionate about the future of Detroit’s largest park. We develop partnerships with community stakeholders and park user groups to advocate for the maintenance, improvement, and protection of the natural and recreational amenities of the park. We sponsor and co-sponsor volunteer work days, events, and activities.

To protect, restore, and promote a natural, environmentally healthy, and culturally vibrant Rouge Park that engages the community for the benefit and enjoyment of all
